SG 1308 National Sales Executive - Food Professional Sales executive with strong account management experience wanted by FMCG food processor based in purpose built premises in Lincolnshire. Small, dynamic and ambitious this is a company experiencing rapid growth driven by product innovation and the passion of the management team. With an enviable portfolio of existing clients the time is right for further growth and development so are now seeking an experience business developer / technical sales executive to drive sales to industry. Reporting to the Sales Director and working in a small sales team, this is largely an autonomous role so will require high levels of self management and motivation. You will have the full range of business development skills and be able to demonstrate previous success in prospecting, making appointments, designing and delivering sales presentations, proposal writing and account management as well as experience in and understanding of food technology, food safety, (BRC, HACCP, traceability, packaging) and process, ideally gained in industry. The ideal candidate will be results driven, tempered with being a customer service champion, be able to demonstrate previous success in a similar business development role within food manufacturing. An understanding of food processing and ingredients gained in a technical role prior to a sales career would be highly desirable. Success in the role will demand exceptional written and spoken communication skills, effective planning, time management and good interpersonal skills. You will be confident in your own ability, comfortable making decisions, able to offer creative solutions to customers, thinking “outside the box”, offering bespoke solutions to help solve customers problems.
